About Etiquette & Protocol Institute of Michigan
My Background
Angelique Mills is the founder and lead instructor of the Etiquette & Protocol Institute of Michigan. A Detroit native with over 30 years of experience, she has dedicated her career to empowering youth and adults through etiquette education, leadership development, and personal growth. Angelique has worked with major institutions, including programs connected to Chrysler as well as schools, churches, and community organizations throughout Michigan. As a certified etiquette professional, she brings a modern, culturally responsive approach to teaching confidence, communication, and social intelligence.
She is also an author, mentor, and spokesperson who is passionate about helping individuals discover their value and present themselves with confidence and grace. Through her work, Angelique continues to inspire the next generation to lead with character, respect, and excellence in every environment they enter.
My Philosophy
Character
We believe character is the foundation of leadership. At EPI, we teach young people to act with integrity, respect, and responsibility—whether they are in the classroom, at home, or in the community. Our programs help students understand who they are, what they stand for, and how their choices shape their future.
Confidence
Confidence grows when young people feel seen, supported, and equipped with real‑world skills. Through etiquette, emotional intelligence, and social communication training, we empower youth to show up with poise, self‑respect, and a strong sense of identity. We help them build the courage to speak, lead, and navigate life’s challenges with grace.
Community
We teach that every action contributes to the world around us. EPI fosters a spirit of service, empathy, and cultural awareness—encouraging youth to uplift others and strengthen the communities they belong to. When young people understand their value, they become catalysts for positive change.
